About Us

Ceerabag offers an ideal place for imaginative expressions in ceramic art.  It is located in the lush green and sylvan surroundings of a village, a few miles away from Thiruvananthapuram (formerly Trivandrum), the capital of Kerala state in South India. Ceerabag has carved a niche in the field since its inception in 2003. It functions under the patronage of Byju SR, a renowned sculptor of India. With graduation in Sculpture (Govt. College of Fine Arts, Thiruvananthapuram) and Post-graduation in Ceramics (MS University of Baroda) he has regularly been participating in the exhibitions and workshops held in India and abroad.

Objective

Unfold your creativity

Endless are the artistic mediums available across the world today. However, apart from its presence in the domestic atmosphere as utensils or curios, ceramic still largely remains unexplored as an immensely potential medium for creative expression. Ceerabag therefore wishes to develop, disseminate and deepen a new approach to art and life going in tune with contemporary visual sensibilities.
