About Us
Ceerabag offers an ideal place for imaginative expressions in ceramic art. It is located in the lush green and sylvan surroundings of a village, a few miles away from Thiruvananthapuram (formerly Trivandrum), the capital of Kerala state in South India. Ceerabag has carved a niche in the field since its inception in 2003. It functions under the patronage of Byju SR, a renowned sculptor of India. With graduation in Sculpture (Govt. College of Fine Arts, Thiruvananthapuram) and Post-graduation in Ceramics (MS University of Baroda) he has regularly been participating in the exhibitions and workshops held in India and abroad.
Our Works
Explore the serene allure of pottery collection
Cerabaag has a unique collection of beautiful pottery produced in various workshops by renowned artist in the field. Towards expanding the visual sensibility in ceramic, some of those works are also set for sale for a reasonable price.

Workshop
For fine arts students who pursue their courses in sculpture or painting for graduation or post- graduation.

Camp
A sponsored programme for the professionals in the field who are invited to participate in the Ceerabag studio for 10—15 day. This opportunity is extended only to five (5) persons.

Artist in residency
Provides studio and firing facilities with materials for the selected emerging or professional ceramic sculptors from across the globe.

Class
Courses are structured in such a way that once part of any major program, one will be able to develop admirable skill and intimate relationship with the tactile quality of the clay.

A Cup of Tea
This programme offers a jovial, lighthearted learning. It prepares an enthusiast to make one’s own ceramic tea cup, in which one can instantly enjoy having a cup of tea.

Mentorship
Providing the entire studio and firing facilities with materials and clay we extend mentorship to one art student from Kerala to work in Ceerabag for one month with free food and accommodation.

Sir gave a very detailed and clear explanation of clay types, methods of moulding and glazing. Just in 2 hours, I have learnt a lot about it. For sure I am gonna take this as my hobby. Would definitely suggest Cerabaag for beginners.
